PRESS RELEASE

SYBOLL TRUST
Sweeps Philadelphia
Anti-Bully Movement
Promotes Tolerance and Peace

Philadelphia, Pa., (February 3, 2013) – Local businessman and entertainer, Syboll, has launched SybollTrust (www.syboll.com), which is a youth-based, anti-bullying movement focused on promoting acceptance, tolerance, and peace.

Thousands of Philadelphians are “Doing the Syboll” in support of anti-bullying and giving back to the community. People are posting photos on Facebook of themselves “Doing the Syboll” constantly. “Doing the Syboll,” which entails making a kissy face paired with sign language for “I love you” (Think hang-ten hands), has been Syboll’s signature for the past 20 years.

In just over a month, this grass-roots organization has grown to 5,000 Facebook followers and 50,000 YouTube views.

“This is all about change and helping others,” Syboll said. “We have to repair the damage that’s been done by the generations before us. Young people want to have a purpose and a thread that binds us all together. This is it.”

Syboll launched his message of giving back to the community and the return of good moral values with a series of video blogs centering on the Spirit of Christmas 2012. Over 16,000 buttons and 1,000 tee-shirts bearing the Syboll symbols have been sent locally, and nationally, to multiple schools and youth organizations free of charge.

A lifelong Fishtown resident, Syboll has always helped people in his community. Now, he is dedicating himself to this movement through special events, clothing drives, and providing online resources which include bully hotlines, suicide hotlines, and drug rehabilitation information to the community, which is available for free on Syboll.com.

Kiera Sanders, a woman who grew up in Fishtown, yet currently resides in Old Town, Florida, was inspired by Syboll. She posted on Facebook that she cleaned out her closet, and she donated two bags of clothing to Christian Services in order to help people in need.

SybollTrust will sponsor the first FREE event this spring. More details will come soon.
